We are looking for a Senior Manager Project Controlling to join our team and play a key role in driving financial performance, developing our controlling function, and supporting critical projects in a dynamic, international environment.

Your role

As a Senior Manager Project Controlling, you will be responsible for driving high-quality financial control across projects while supporting and developing a team of Project Controllers. You will work both strategically and hands-on, combining leadership responsibilities with active involvement in selected projects.

You report directly to the Senior Director Project Controlling.

Your responsibilities

Drive financial performance

• Lead and ensure high-quality month-end closing for projects
  
  
• Drive and coordinate forecasting processes (rolling forecast)
  
  
• Oversee KPI preparation and performance follow-up
  
  
• Drive harmonization and standardization across processes, ensuring one way of working

Be part of project execution

• Act as Senior Project Controller in selected projects (~30%)

• Support project teams with budgeting, monitoring, and forecasting

• Provide financial and commercial insight to project management

Lead and develop the team

• Follow up with Project Controllers through regular 1:1s and continuous dialogue

• Ensure alignment on priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

• Drive competence development and knowledge sharing

• Take an active role in onboarding new colleagues to ensure a strong start

Support and collaborate

• Act as key support and back-up to the Senior Director Project Controlling

• Contribute to management reporting, project reviews, and KPI summaries

• Support Analysts in their daily work and ensure effective collaboration within the team

Improve ways of working

• Drive continuous improvements in processes, tools, and reporting

• Ensure strong internal controls and high-quality financial governance

You are a structured and proactive finance professional with strong analytical skills and a clear business mindset. You combine the ability to see the big picture with attention to detail and enjoy working both operationally and through others. You are comfortable working in complex project environments and collaborating with stakeholders across functions and geographies.
