Do you want to play a key role in the future of offshore grid solutions? As our new Technical Sales Manager, you will be the technical backbone in our tender and project processes, ensuring that NKT delivers high-quality cable systems, accessories, installation solutions and service agreements.


In this exciting position, you will join a growing business area and play a direct part in improving customer solutions, internal processes, and future product development. You will work at the intersection of engineering, sales and operations, collaborating across functions and business lines to secure the right technical scope and skills for each project.

Manage technical excellence throughout the tender and project lifecycle
In this role, you act as the primary technical advisor for offshore cable systems, accessories, installation methods and service offerings. You support Sales Bid Managers with technical input, cost estimations and documentation during tenders, while ensuring that the right resources are available for effective project execution.


Your responsibility will also be to:
•    Provide technical knowledge in tenders, including clarifications, method descriptions and schedules
•    Participate in customer and subcontractor meetings as technical specialist
•    Coordinate technical input across functions, business lines and hubs
•    Promote knowledge sharing, training and continuous improvement


You will report to the Head of Commercial Offshore GSO and collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Engineering, Product Management and multiple internal stakeholders. The position is located in Karlskrona.

Required skills:
•    Experience with offshore/onshore cable systems, accessories or installation
•    Solid technical understanding and ability to interpret technical scopes
•    Experience supporting tenders or customer negotiations
•    Ability to coordinate technical input across multiple stakeholders
•    Experience with lessons learned, continuous improvement or process development


Preferred:
•    Experience from product management or engineering within cable systems
