As Vice President, R&D Karlskrona, you will lead the strategic roadmap for NKT’s high‑voltage cable technologies and guide a team driving sustainable energy infrastructure. This role offers a rare opportunity to shape large‑scale technological innovation within a global leader in the green transition. You will define long‑term R&D direction, ensure engineering excellence, oversee complex project execution, and strengthen NKT’s technological edge. Working closely with senior leadership, you will help deliver next‑generation solutions for a sustainable future.
Leading strategic research and development for global impact
In this role, you will define and deliver the R&D strategy for high‑voltage cable systems, ensuring innovation aligns with NKT’s long‑term business goals. You will lead an R&D organization of roughly 40 specialists through your Senior Manager team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence. Although based in Karlskrona, your leadership will influence global customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, requiring strong cross‑market and cross‑functional alignment. You will balance long‑term technology development with the execution of complex engineering programs that secure NKT’s competitive advantage.
Key responsibilities:
You will report directly to EVP–CTO Anders Jensen and work closely with senior stakeholders across the organization. The role is based in Karlskrona and includes international travel for strategic collaboration
