Lead strategic expansion in the UK and US service sectors

As Head of Service, UK & US at NKT, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our Service & Installation business line. Assuming full P&L accountability and a focused growth strategy, you will be empowered to significantly enhance our service initiatives through strategic leadership, operational excellence, and international collaboration. 

Drive service excellence and regional business growth 

As Head of Service, you will oversee NKT’s Service operations in the UK and US, with direct responsibility for the UK and indirect oversight of the US. You will be accountable for securing profitable growth, building a capable local organization, and ensuring operational excellence. Your role will be central to expanding our market presence, developing new service segments, and contributing to the global Service & Installation leadership team. 

Your responsibility will be to: 

• Lead the UK Service team and coordinate with the US P&L manager 

• Coordinate actions that boost revenue and profitability across both regions  

• Develop and manage budgets, investments, and cost structures 

• Build and maintain an efficient, inclusive team 

• Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and quality standards 

You will report to the EVP, Service & Installation and be based in Scotland, UK. This role offers the chance to collaborate across regions, with around 20 days of travel per year. 

Experienced service leader with global perspective 

You are a motivated and entrepreneurial leader who thrives in an evolving, cross-functional environment. You bring a structured and reflective approach to leadership, with a commitment to quality and safety. Your ability to inspire teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver business results makes you well-suited for this role. 

You also have: 

• Solid P&L handling experience in the energy or electrical sector 

• Demonstrated background in team leadership across diverse environments 

• Solid project management and business case development skills 

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or business management 

• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken 

• Experience with SAP, CRM, or project management tools
