Ensure workplace safety and compliance

Implement and monitor safety measures
As a Safety Technician, you will be responsible for planning and carrying out hazard identification and risk assessments, and implementing measures to minimize them. You will monitor the working conditions of workers in more vulnerable situations and ensure legal compliance in the area of security. Additionally, you will collaborate with Worker Health in determining and implementing measures in workplaces, and analyze the causes of work accidents, preparing the respective reports and defining corrective and preventive measures. Your role will be to:

• Plan and carry out hazard identification and risk assessments, and implement measures to minimize them
• Monitor the working conditions of workers in more vulnerable situations
• Monitor legal compliance in the area of security
• Collaborate with Worker Health in determining and implementing measures in workplaces
• Analyze the causes of work accidents, prepare the respective reports, defining the corrective and preventive measures to be applied

You will report to the QHSE Manager and work closely with various teams to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. This position is onsite and based in Esposende.

Detail-oriented safety professional
We are looking for a focused and detail-oriented safety professional who is focused on ensuring workplace safety and compliance. You should have communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying risks and implementing effective safety measures. You also have:

• University Degree in Engineering
• CAP for SST Technician (level VI)
• Trainer CCP
• 1-2 years of professional experience in the industry
• Knowledge of ISO Management Systems (valued requirement)
• Knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Fluency in spoken and written English (mandatory requirement)
